About Mike and John Sicher

Mike and John Sicher were born in New York City and grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania, Forty-Fort.

They went to the same college, Harvard.  After college, Mike went into the U.S. Navy and then had careers in hospitality, marketing and teaching.  John went to law school and then into the publishing business.

​

Over the years, Mike often wrote, but never published.  John often took photographs, but similarly never published them.

​

This project -- Picture Stories -- coupling Mike’s writing and John’s photos, gives them an opportunity to collaborate.
